BIOGRAPHY
A jack-of-all-trades artist, Agathe de La Boulaye learned about cinema by following training at La Fémis. She made her stage and television debut, before hitting the big screen in 1995 with an appearance in James Ivory ‘s Jefferson in Paris . The actress then alternates between small roles ( A Witch’s Love , Hygiene of the Assassin ) and more substantial characters in more modest productions ( Vive elle , Pudeur oblige ). In 2002, she stood out as a friend of Cécile de France in Irène , then joined Michel Vaillant ‘s team under the direction of Louis-Pascal Couvelaire . After a first international experience in the drama The Girl , opposite Claire Keim , she was selected to “referee” the duel Alien vs. Predator by Paul Anderson . She continued her momentum in 2004 with the war film The Drop , in which she starred alongside Michael Madsen and Billy Zane . Working at the same time on the creation of a comic strip centered on ghouls and vampires in the Casterman catalog, the actress also tried an experiment in directing with her first short film, Le paravent (2003), in which she also played the character of Pauline. In 2005, she played the leading role in the French sentimental series Si j’had millions before joining Anthony Delon for another leading role in the series 3 femmes… un soir d’été . She played opposite Stanislas Merhar and Sophie Quinton in 2006 by playing the role of Laure in Müetter by Dominique Lienhard , then found herself immersed in a horrifying world of murder and rape in Dying God (2008) by Fabrice Lambot . It was then Charlotte Brandström who called on her, giving her the role of Claire Morvan in the TV film L’Affaire Bruay-en-Artois , which won an award at La Rochelle. In 2012, the actress returned to the world of detective films on a much more humorous tone with Pascal Thomas ‘ comedy , Associés contre le crime… , alongside Catherine Frot and André Dussollier .
