BIOGRAPHY
Daniela Campos Reséndiz, better known as Ela Velden , is a Mexican actress and model, born on July 25, 1992, in Querétaro, Mexico. She would move to Mexico City to study acting at Televisa’s CEA, graduating in 2013. She would soon have her debut on television, with the production Gossip Girl: Acapulco (2013), in the role of Gaby, throughout 21 episodes. Her participation in the series would allow her to obtain roles in soap operas such as Italian Girl Comes to Marry (2014), A que no me deja (2015), Despertar con tus (2016) and Caer en temptation (2017). Regarding the latter, Ela assured Sensacine México that SIlvia Navarro was a great teacher, in addition to working alongside her it was a “recreational and learning experience every day.” After a brief and successful career on the small screen, Ela makes the leap to cinema with a starring role in the feature film Veinteañera, divorced and fantastic (2019), a spin off of the film Thirty, single and fantastic . In 2021 she stars in Who Loved Sara? , a Mexican Netflix original series that tells the story of a man who has been unjustly accused of homicide and, after serving his sentence, prepares a plan to find the real person responsible. In an interview with Sensacine México, Ela assured that one of the great moments in her career was working with Roberto Fiesco, a director with whom she previously worked on The Game of Keys . The most persevering memory of her from Fiesco is that when they met at the script reading for The Key Game , the director made her see that he fully trusted her talent for the role.
