Karla Haydée Díaz-Leal Arreguín, better known as Karla Díaz, is a Mexican actress, singer and television host, born on April 18, 1984, in Mexico City. From a very young age she showed her interest in music and dancing, and in 1997 she joined the youth group Jeans to replace Tábatha Vizuet. After the disintegration of the group, Karla signed with Entertainment A&R MEDIA Music to record her first album, which was not only sold in Mexico, but also in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Israel and Europe, from which the first single was released. called “Tell me”. Two years later, Karla returned at the Jeans reunion, but with greater legal advice, where she had the opportunity to become the owner of part of the group’s rights after the owners released them. In July 2015, the group released a live album called Déjá Vu, which included her best hits and three unreleased songs. Jeans’ reunion, under Karla’s supervision, was a huge success. Given this, together with her current colleagues, they are studying the possibility of making future unreleased albums. In early 2017 the group officially changed its name to JNS. In addition to music, Karla has also participated as an actress in various commercials and productions, such as the soap opera Agujetas de color de Rosa. In August 2014, she was a contestant on the program “I am your double” on TV Azteca, and a year later, she was a contestant on “La Isla: el reality”, where she was the eighth exiled. In 2020 she joined the internet program: La Más Draga, as host of the third season.
