Kevin Gates was born on February 5, 1986 as KevinJerome Gilyard. He has a mix of Puerto Rican and Black American ancestry. Her mother’s name is Martha Gates (née Green). After he was born in Louisiana, his family moved to Baton Rouge. At the age of 13, Kevin visited prison for the first time for dangerous driving on the road (this form of driving is similar to that of criminals).
