BIOGRAPHY
Lucas Balmaceda studied at Saint George’s College and in 2010 he began studying theater at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. While he was in his fourth year of theater, in 2014, he starred in the play La noche obstinada , by Argentine choreographer Pablo Rotemberg. That same year he debuted on television, being part of the cast of the series Los 80 , where he played the role of Axel Miller. The following year he co-starred in the TVN soap opera Juana Brava (2015) and in 2016 he acted in the soap opera Veinteañero a los 40 on Channel 13. At the end of 2016 he made his film debut in the youth comedy Test of attitude , by Fabrizio Copano and Augusto Matte. He appeared in two episodes of the third season of the Netflix series Narcos , where he shared the screen with his brother Pedro. In 2020, Balmaceda participates in the Amazon Prime Video streaming series, La Jauría .
