BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Paris, Nora Arnezeder moved to Aix-en-Provence with her parents at the age of two, then twelve years later went to Bali for a year. Since her childhood, she has taken acting lessons, going so far as to rehearse scenes with her sister. Introduced to jazz by her father, she also discovered a passion for singing. Her musical references range from Stacey Kent to Quincy Jones, including Katie Melua, Billie Holliday and Sarah Vaughan.
On her return to Paris, she took courses at the International Academy of Dance, Singing and Theater, then completed several comedy courses at Cours Florent, at Pygmalion and with Jacques Walzer. Appearing in Les Deux mondes (2007) and the RIS series Police Scientifique and Commissaire Valence , she presented herself to the casting of Faubourg 36 and landed, after a singing audition and comedy tests on the stage of the Elysée Montmartre, the coveted role of the beautiful Douce, “THE” voice of this musical fresco signed Christophe Barratier .
After a “modelling” interlude in which she was the face of Guerlain’s Idylle perfume (she also sings in this advertisement), we find her in 2011 under the direction of Pascale Pouzadoux for La Croisière . The beauty subsequently had a fairly intense year in 2012 as we discovered her across the Atlantic in the arms of Ryan Reynolds for Close Security and pursued by the frightening Elijah Wood in the very gory Maniac .
At ease in historical frescoes, Nora is directing the film Angélique at the end of 2013 , a new adaptation of the novel by Anne and Serge Golon . The following year, she returned to comedy with Son , in which her partners were Kev Adams and Franck Dubosc .
