BIOGRAPHY
Walter Dohrn is an American writer, director, animator, musician and voice actor who works for the production company DreamWorks. He is known for performing the voice of Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek Forever (2010), as well as the voices of a van student, Xavier, Principal Pynchley, a dwarf nanny, an evil knight, and a singing villain in Shrek the Third (2007). Dohrn worked as a writer, director, and storyboard director on season 2 of the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants , and collaborated on two episodes of season 3. In addition to working on the show, he is a storyboard artist and voice actor on the DreamWorks Animation studios. Dohrn made his film directorial debut in 2016 when he co-directed, alongside Mike Mitchell, the animated musical film Trolls . We recently saw him in A Boss in Diapers (2017) and An Abominable Friend (2019). The animator will return to directing and acting for the sequel, Trolls World Tour (2020), this time alongside director David P. Smith.
